Garden Year In Review

We had a mild winter, but there were no blooms in January or February. In March we were already seeing the following.

 By July, hot and dry weather was taking its toll on heucherella 'Stoplight' (and others as well). 'Stoplight' survived, although some others did not.

 The pansies are the only bloomers left.

2012 brought us a mild winter, early spring, and hot, dry summer. Despite the challenges posed by our weather, the garden overall did well. Always the optimistic gardener, I look forward to next year.


 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
